Um avião Super Tucano A-29, novo modelo da Esquadrilha da Fumaça, que está a substituir o T-27, caiu na manhã da última segunda-feira (12/08/13) em Pirassununga, Estado de São Paulo, na Academia da Força Aérea. Os pilotos: Capitão Aviador Fabrício Carvalho e Capitão Aviador João Igor Silva Pivovar, chegaram a ejetar os assentos, porém a distância ao solo era muito pequena. Infelizmente, o incidente resultou no óbito dos pilotos, uma perda irreparável.

Acident with the Brazilian Smoke Squadron's A-29 Super Tucano!
A A-29 Super Tucano plane, the new model from the Brazilian Smoke Squadron, which is about to substitute the T-27, crashed on the morning of last Monday (08.12.13) in Pirassununga, State of São Paulo, at the Air Force Academy. The pilots: Captain Fabricio Carvalho and Captain João Igor Silva Pivovar, ejected their seats, but the distance to the ground was too small. Unfortunately, the incident resulted in their death, an irreparable loss.
